Second Day of the CME Group Futures Training Webinar Held
On 19 August, the second day of the international training webinar "Hedging Commodities with CME Group Futures" was held online. The webinar was organised jointly by CME Group, UZEX and Phillip Capital.
The second day covered wheat, crude oil, gold and copper futures, as well as the hedging of price risks using futures contracts. The presentations shared international experience on the specific features of commodity futures, the management of risks associated with price fluctuations and the practical application of hedging strategies. Participants gained further insight by putting their questions on the topics to the specialists.
The event will contribute to the further development of cooperation between CME Group and UZEX, the exchange of experience in the international futures market, and the introduction and development of derivatives in Uzbekistan.
